Hello WoW Made Easy Family,
I never, ever, ever, thought I’d be writing this Thank You, but here we are, a long way from the “20 or so people” I thought would be interested in a community for gamers who were nervous about participating in WoW content. We are 20,000 members strong! I must admit, I’m feeling a bit shocked, but in a good way. Who knew our little Discord family would grow into something so important to so many people?
When I first started this thing, I just wanted a safe place where WoW players could hang out and help each other out. You took that mission seriously! The way you’ve supported and guided each other through the world of Azeroth (and even outside of it) is nothing short of magical.
We’re not just a bunch of players here; we’re a family of adventurers who’ve stumbled upon a secret realm of friendship and camaraderie.
Newbies, old-timers, and everyone in between, you’ve all played a part in building this wonderful, lovable, community. The generosity and patience you show to new players is nothing short of heroic. Remember when you didn’t know how to use the channels or dungeon finder? Times have changed. You’ve grown. Look at you now, using reactions like a pro! Some of you still can’t tag @Tank though. (Just put a space after the “k”)
Thank you to the Mods for all you do to keep the bots at bay (though Subpar somehow always finds a way back in). Thank you to the Raid Leaders who do so much behind the scenes that most players never see. Thank you to everyone who has lead a Mythic Plus group. Thank you to the Mythic Plus Social Frogs whose zest for life required that we give them their own channel.
A HUGE thank you to the Supporters. The Discord wouldn’t exist without your generosity and selflessness. I truly can’t thank you enough.
Thank you to everyone who has created the heart of this place – safety and respect. We might be poking fun at each other in jest, but we always keep it good-natured and make sure everyone feels at home here.
So, as we raise our digital mugs to celebrate this milestone, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you. You’ve made WoW Made Easy more than just a Discord server; you’ve turned it into a sanctuary for laughter, camaraderie, and, of course, some good ol’ dungeon crawling.
Here’s to our humble yet mighty community and to all the memories we’ll continue to create together. Let’s keep slaying bosses, sharing tips, and making each other laugh along the way.
